- In blender, is it possible for one object to have two UV sets like Maya?
- I have two objects with the same topology and the same vertex order.
Can I copy UVmap from one object to another?
yes it is possible to use multi uv maps:
If you hit + (green arrow) ->the selected uv map gets duplicated.
You can easily copy the object (linked or not) and then change uv individually…
I dont know if their is a script to transfer uvs later.
1 - Yes, look in the object data panel where you can add multiple UV sets
2 - Yes, Ctrl+L / join as UVs
Thank you very much.
This is exactly what I was looking for.
Transfer UVs does not seem to work in Bmesh though.
