I’ve been working on making clothes in second life, which includes using blender to create realistic looking parts as well - such as the collar, sleeves etc.
It’s my first time using a 3d software; i got the actual sculpting part quite well, but I’m completely lost as to how I can make it into the texture / UV map (sculpt map) that I have to have in order to convert it into an actual object in second life.
What i’ve made is something like this:
i’ve followed the tutorial at http://iramblesorry.blogspot.com/2007/05/how-i-learned-to-stop-worrying-and-love_28.html for… a LOT of times, but it never worked.
Every single time it turned out as something completely unrecognizable.
I made it by, at side view, creating a circle mesh - delete some edges -rerrange the vertexes, then spin it by 250 degrees so that it looks something like that. Then i just sculpted it.
Yup. Then the texturing just… doesn’t work.
Can someone please help me?? :S
