Having a tough time with this texture issue. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
I’m working on this mesh its final location is a 3d program (SL), all looks good it unwraps perfectly, looks good inworld but the texture size max is 1024x1024, in world the textures look blurred, so what im trying to do is apply different images to different parts of the UV, and finally baked to multiple 1024x1024 images. So say interior walls, bake to
image 1, floor and ceiling to image 2 and so on. Any help or direction appreciated.
Is this short tutorial the sort of thing you are after?
you could assign material to different faces and then do an unwrap per material and assign images
or you could create several UV unwrap and assigb one image per unwrap !
