UV unwrapping and Editing

Can I export uv’s in Blender. It exports as .png, etc…
So this is just a template for Image editing for the texture.
Swear I used it to import to the game engine awhile ago. Could be wrong maybe I reimported the mesh with a second uv set.
Can I import uv’s for editing without a mesh object import or export the uv’s for editing in another software without the mesh?

Another problem when I unwrap not using the “smart uv unwrap”
So I’m unwrapping using the unwrap with my marked seams.
Is there options to set my island paddind now??? Should be there somewhere. It is a basic function that is already there with “smart uv unwrap”.

UV / Export UV Layout menu. Export as .png or .svg or .eps file

You need an object to see its UVs

UVs / Pack Islands, set the margin distance in the toolshelf of the 3d vieww

Thx, was looking all over for the margin padding. Everywhere but under the toolshelf!!

Guess I will have to redo my second uv set. Lost it somewhere down the line…
