UV unwrapping multiple objects

I’m trying to unwrap several objects so that they fit on one texture. Is there any way that I can see all of the uv maps at once without joining the objects, or do I have to join them and separate them after I have organized the uv maps on the texture?

Since there is no way to edit multiple objects at once, i would say OR part… But do not take it as granted.
Then again, Mango project used BatchBakeAO script - that does temporarily join objects to bake, so OR part.
