Sounds to me like a thread posted by folks who, at the end of a very long day of drudgery, seriously needed someone to buy them a beer!

So, what, a sewing factory, but for 3D?..

It’s more like a de-sewing factory, but yeah.

I enjoy it too but I’m very bad at it, is there a course or something completely focused on teaching you uv unwrapping methods?

I’ve unwrapped 100s of meshes over the years so it just became second nature. It really is a matter of just learning what the tools do and devising an a fast and efficient workflow. I spent all those years in Max though. I wouldn’t touch Blender’s unwrap tool as long as it has that crazy selection disconnect between 3d view and uv view view. Absolute pain in the arse.

Crazy girl right here o/
Side effect: I’ve become incredibly efficient at optimizing the space in my fridge.
