UV unwrapping Workflow

Greetings everybody!

For things like pipes, which for me tends to be all quads after conversion from curves, I find a face that is kinda squarish, unwrap/reset, l to select all linked (previous face stays as active), and unwrap/follow active quads. That unwraps lots of pipes in a couple of minutes and all you need to do is scale the islands appropriately. None of my pipes are capped, so there is only one random seam per pipe. If capped, I would have a proper endcap (unwrapped the same way).
