UVMap question

So I have an image of a baked normal map for a tire, but when I try to translate that same material with the UVmap setting under Mapping->UV->Map. I choose UVMap, but it doesn’t show up on any other object texture when I add that same material to it. Why is that?

I believe each object needs it’s own UVmap.

Oh. so how can I use an object’s UVmap on another object of the same thing (duplicated and not changed?)

In your case it’s an easy fix. Just select your duplicated object, go into edit mode and in the UV/Image Editor load the tire texture.
