Uvmapping

Okay so I just started modeling and I’m currently trying to make a sort of like witches hat. My problem comes when I start uvmapping it. First of all I have no idea how I am supposed to unwrap it and secondly how am I supposed to get the texture inside the hat also?

With Blender open click on the Help menu and go to Manual. Under the section Textures, click on UV Mapping. The next section concerns Bumping which you also ask about. A simplier answer to bumping is to load a texture and Map to Nor. If you still have trouble after reading the Manual, come back and ask :wink:
