I have made a little valentine card, that I’d like some critics on. What can be better (except for putting in a rose, which I don’t have the time to, and some text, which I will do)?
Blender 2.32.

I would have thought that the gold (Champagne?) color would have been at least slightly evident throughout the liquid. It appears to stop at the surface of the liquid.
And bubbles would add to the realism of the picture.
I love the texture on the pillow, how did you achieve that?
Looks very good. Great work. The heart I think could still need a little work. Looks somehow compressed.
Dreamsgate: I know about the champagne color, I haven’t been able to fix it, though. Maybe someone could lead me in the right direction? I have some bubbles, maybe I should have more…
Texture on the pillow: A red material, a bump map with text and the other bumps, and a ref/spec/hard map with only text. The maps are mapped to UV coordinates.
Jerri: I don’t really understand what you mean by compressed?

Mhm. I mean, the pillow doesn’t look very comfortable. More like something from styrofoam. Maybe it’s the texture. I think the details on the pillow are to big. And the “edges” on the heart are to hard. I mean, the heart should overall be rounder. Hope you understand, what I mean.
Yeah, I’ll se what I can do.
