I tried out Cycles SSS and Hair on a Vampire bat, thoughts?

The soft parts of the wings (between the fingers) should bulge more. Now it is too straight and flat between the fingers.
The wings should have more long wrinkles, and not those small round structures.
Try stronger SSS on the wings, where the moon is coming from behind. You could move the wall ad the moon so that it shines directly through the wing from behind.
- I like the setting very much.
- I like the body of the bat.
- The wings? “Not so much.” Not yet.
Well, the wings don’t really look furry, nor particularly “leathery,” as the wings of an actual bat do … and the transition between wings and body doesn’t really “ring true” to my eyes. Not yet.
