Hi , can somebody tell me how to save “global”(not the global in a script) variables that you can access them from other script.
I’m working on a script that hides elements by there name prefix, but the script its link to an object and use redraw to refresh. My idea its to load all the objects to a list so i don’t have to search them every time i redraw.
Any help would be grate since I’m new to blender´s python

Check out pickle (object serialization) module . You can find a couple of examples there. Essentially it allows you to dump data on hard drive and retrieve it.

Another, Blender specific way, to do it would be to use Blender’s Registry module. You can find it and examples at .

thanks, i check those links and i post if i have doubts
thank you again
