Vertex Colors = Material color?

Hi! I’ve painted vertex colors on some objects. I’d like this to be the material color using a node material. How would I connect that?

Just to be sure: We’re talking about a Cyles node material? Not a BI node material?

Just use an Input > Attribute node named Col and connect that to the color input of your shaders.

You win! I actually knew that this was the answer. But I’m working on some Maya projects, and am just continually disappointed with their documentation and forum feedback. So I’m being a bit of an A-hole, but I was actually conducting a time trial between Maya and Blender communities XD

Suffice to say, Blender’s documentation and support is better than people know. Thanks Ikari!

You know you have to post >1000 question like this with diferent degree of dificulty at diferent time of the day to get the start of a statisticaly relevent answere to your hided question?

No, I m not encouraging you to do it!
It’s just to say that doing it once will pretty much result of a totaly random result that didn’t prove nothing.
