I’m sure I’m just spacing out on something, but I don’t remember this happening before and I don’t know how to fix it.
Somehow I’ve gotten into some kind of state where if I edit my mesh by moving a vertex, the edit disappears in object mode. Basically as simple as that. Go to edit mode, move a vertex, go back to object mode and the change is gone (although in edit mode it’s still there). Things like extrudes do show up, but moving vertices around has no effect on the mesh in object mode.
There are quite a few things going on with the mesh, vertex parents, vertex groups, an armature modifier, etc. So I’m sure the problem has something to do with one of these factors. I actually deleted the armature modifier, but I still have vertex groups defined. If somebody could point me in the direction of how to fix this, I’d appreciate it.
