Ok so I’m a noob here.When your vertex mode how do you show the vertices? Also whenever I airbrush anything it doesn’t show when I switch to Object mode or when I render.

You’re talking about vertex painting?.
In the Viewport activate texture shading - Alt+Z - to see your Vertexcolor in Objectmode
For rendering you have to assign a Material to the object, with the - VCol Paint - Button activated in the Material Panel.
