Hi, sometimes, there’s a vertex normal map baked into an fbx file. While it doesn’t seem to do any harm in blender+cycles, it can cause weird artifacts in other applications.
Now a friend sent me a file with this normal map… I used to remove them for him in Modo… but in blender, I can’t find the map to delete. It seems to render fine in Blender, but once exported, the Vertex Normal Map is still part of the new file and continues to cause trouble in other programs.
Any tips regarding the location of the map will be most welcome.
