Vertex Normals after Export to *.x


I build some models for a 3D simulation with Blender. This simulation knows unfortunately only direct X format to import. Now I have however a problem with the Vertex Normals. The picture down developed in the 3D Mesh Viever of Microsoft. Left the correct adjustment is to be seen standard as, on the right of from Blender. I think one can a clear difference for seeing and hopes that to me to one of you to say can as I this problem to be repaired can! Greet Ands

seperate the faces [y key in edit mode]

in direct3d a vertex can have a only single normal, if you want it to have 3 then you need 3 verticies

the exporter should do this on its own [some kind of autosmooth effect], but apparently it doesn’t
