Sooo I got this book called “Introducing Character Animation with Blender” by Tony Mullen. The book teaches you to animate blender characters, but it also goes in depth to teach you character modeling using two methods: Box and Extrusion Modeling. And I ran into a problem that I don’t know how to address.
Right now, I’m doing Extrusion modeling. I build on two pictures of a woman using vertices and connecting them together. Then moving them about to the the shape of the face. Now, I’m quite new to blender, so when I was working on it, I looked at the example pictures and noticed something that I want to have on.
In the picture below, you can see the lips of the woman. In the middle is a line of Vertices, and on the right there is a rough outline of the woman’s lips. (The mirror modifier is ON) If you look closely, you can see a faint outline of her lips on both sides. This is in every example picture, and he even says to use it to position the eye outline.
So I want to know, how do I turn that faint outline on?
Thanks!
