Yes, this one is really great and quite competetive to PS for texturing work. (Do not forget to import this http://www.artweaver.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=527 (http://www.artweaver.de/direct/BlendIf.zip) very useful plug-in for blending textures :-))

just downloaded the blendif file. where does one install the same in the program?

just put it in Program files/Artweaver 0.4/Plug-Ins. Than it will be accessible in the program menu Layer - Advanced Blending

The main better features of Artweaver to be compared to GIMP are excelent brushes management and brushes functions settings. Also nearly all brushes settings can be linked to tablet.
