Very urgent help needed !

Hi, people.
I really need urgently help about a topic :
Is it possible to use zblur sequence plugin with Blender 2.25?
I just can obtain red screen (like when there’s an error)
even if my settings are right.

If someone can explain me how to make it work, or best, if someone knows who made the plugin and how to contact this person.

Thanks to anyone who can help, and I can’t stress enough about how urent this is :frowning:

I’ve had cool results with another way to fake blurring: try Inserting a keyframe for the camera. Move to frame 2, move the camera JUST A LITTLE BIT, and insert another keyframe. Activate Motion Blur in render buttons and play with the value below.

Almast every plugin does not work in 2.25 due to API change.

Search for Malefico tut on DoF and use the ‘camera on a circl’ technique instead.

Good luck

Stefano

P.S. what about meaningful titles for topics  ?

Ouch.
The first technique you describe is good way to simulate in still images, not animations.

And the second technique is WAAAAYYYYY too long for animation.

Ok thanks anyway, I’ll try to handle this with the ol’ 2.23

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I’ma stills-oriented modeller(at least for now). I sacrifice cinematically correct for eye-candy. I’ll probably get the animation bug later on. Anyway, why do you want to use DoF in an animation anyway? Unless it’s something really slow and close up…
