[VFX] need help creating this lightning flash vfx

Hey
I wanna create this flash inspired VFX - I am not sure how to go on to create the lightning vfx for the flash. Reply with a answer u know - i’d really appreciate it. -

Those new super heroes suits are created with Rotomation, them with Houdini they can create all kind of effects interacting with the suit, smoke, fire, lightning, all kind of procedural effects. There are some Blender lightning tutorials. This is a very good one. Also After Effects has a feature to add Procedural Lightning. CG interacting with live action is a big deal, won’t be a simple task. Remember that was created by the big studios.
