It’s always worked great. Then out of the blue the Add Clip or Mask functions broke showing only the stub for a drop down menu shown in the attached pic. I reinstalled the newest version 2.78 and reboot but still does the same thing.
Anybody else have this happen?

Have you a clip in the movie editor or created a mask to add ?
No, I wanted to start by adding an existing clip. I did try adding an image to start which I can do, but still can’t add a clip.
Also, I used to be able to use video clips as textures on planes but now they stick on the first frame and don’t advance when animated.
I am facing the same issue. When I import a GLB having a plane with a video texture, the video doesn’t play. Any tip ? I really looked for hours to find a solution!
