video game gliches

post anything funny or different that happend in ur video game that wasnt supposed to.

In conflict desert storm, the enemy spotted me hiding behind a wall, I was pinned down trying to figure out how?

Looked round and what do I see 5 enemy AI running through a huge fortress wall.

That was a big glitch.

well, i really like the tony hawk games for the consoles. and there is a huge community devoted to just finding glitches like getting out of bounds and stuff like that.

in tony hawks underground 1, there was a level called new jersey.

it was only in a cutscene in tony hawks underground 2, but i figured out how to glitch into it and skate in it (on my friends psp, couldnt do it on the console version). it was pretty neat.

I often play Black Hawk Down on lan with my brother-in-law and his son. I like to use my laptop, because the graphics are only 16bit (weak onboard ATI chip). Why I like it, is the fact that with 16bit graphics, one can usually see the oponents thru the walls. They don’t realise this, they just think I’m being kind to let them play on the better desktop pcs.

Counter Strike Source “crate stuck” glitch.

So far I have been the victim of this horrible glitch on “dust 2” and “compound”. It happens whenever you crouch right next to a crate in a certain way, the glitch happens and then you cannot get up, move or jump.

Your just stuck there until you get shot, or until the round is over (if your lucky).

ive had that glitch on dod source and css in a few places. but its much easier to get loose in day of defeat.

In wolfenstein enemy territory there is a glitch on the map railroad (on shrubet or sth like that). There is a high so called balcony where you can go to and on top of that is a large water barrel. Just jump on the ledge there, lay down and go towards the barrel and when you fall off the ledge near the barrel you’ll get in and then you’ll have a great chance of killing others and getting called a cheater

I found some glitches, or rather exploits in Mario Kart DS. I have a video of what happens when you go on the loop the loop parts in Rainbow Road here

Look up the Metroid Secret Worlds. I like the Chozo Maze in Metroid II: Return of Samus.

Metroid: You can get a door to close on you, and you can “Jump,” up the wall by going in and out of Morph Ball mode. Eventually the game thinks there should be something up there, so it randomly creates something.

Metroid II: Go into Morph Ball mode in any part of the game and rapidly press SELECT while walking around. This prevents the Game Boy from loading the level properly, and holes appear in the wall. In some areas, you can get to the chozo Maze; a glitch secret world that somehow connects all the rooms with Chozo powerups. No-one so far has been able to navigate it successfully, as when you leave a room in it then go back, it’s a different room. It is, however, the same every time you visit it; the rooms are just always in a different order.

Metroid Prime: There are two (or more? I can’t remember right now) secret worlds in Metroid Prime; I can’t remember how to get to them.

Hell yeah, these are always great
(I’ve also found something similar in the third part of the GC Prince of Persia - but I could never find a way to sop the fall into oblivion - as well as in Burnout 2 for GC).

I also love the way you can beat Mario 64 with only 16 stars (during normal gameplay you would need at least 70). It’s not hard to do it yourself but it is really fun to abuse the game’s “glitches” to have fun.
It involves to use a game character to “push” yourself through a locked door and to climb stairs so quickly, that Mario gets faster as the game…(well, I guess you need to play it yourself to see).

Metroid Prime: Crazy Boost ball: In the Chozo Ruins, there is a room with those weird toad things that suck you in when you go near them in Morph Ball mode. After draining the pool in there, go just to the left of the small statue thing that you scan to empty the pool. Go into Morph Ball mode and aim yourself so that if you used the boost ball you would just barely miss the first toad thing. Then, use the boost. The toad will try to suck you in, and at the same time the game sees the boost ball half pipe. The result is that you will do an odd assortment of loops and spins using the boost ball, and either end up in the toads mouth after spinning out of controll, or at the bottom of the now empty pool.

There are also secret worlds in the Kid Icarus game, which had the same game engine as the original Metroid.

In 007 Nightfire for the GC, in multiplayer in the level with all the snow and the two “Bases,” sometimes you will randomly fall underground, where you stay the rest of the game. The pro: You can shoot others, and they can’t shoot you. The con: They learn to avoid you, and you can’t move.

In Half Life 1 and Opposing Force (probably Blue Shift as well), in some lifts you can get stuck when you reach your destination. Like the ‘crate stuck’ glitch, you cannot jump or move (don’t know about shooting), you’re just stuck to the floor. The only way to avoid it that I know of is to jump repeatedly while the lift is in motion.

there are very many sites dedicated to glitches in ‘Socom 3: U.S navy seals’
Most are for the online part of the game such as Socom 3 Glitches And there are often Rooms just created for messing about and glitching, one such glitch is called the ‘skywalker’ and allows you to walk around above groundout of the sight of enimies, but its not nice to do that in normal games, so thats why some genious invented whats called a ‘Glitch No Kill’ room, where you arent allowed to kill enimies, you are only allowed to mess about and glitch! it all quite fun!

I remember a glitch in Super Mario 64 that was pretty weird. When you get all 120 stars, use the cannon to launch yourself on top of the castle’s tower. Then get as high as you can and do a backflip into the top part of the tower. You’ll fall through the wall and actually end up inside the castle–only you’ll be inside the walls. Then when you try using doors, it gets even weirder.

In America’s Army, I went prone near this cliff on a map called Bridge. Basically, the only way to cross the map is to go across the bridge, but I set up camp near the side of it to pick off any of the defense rushers. I moved forward a bit and basically slid down this huge cliff and into an out of bounds area. Needless to say my team mates called me a hacker.

I play AA too. Never knew you could survive sliding all the way down that map lol.

In CSS, you can get up over the level roof in Dust 2 by making a human pyramid to lift a friend when standing on the ledge over the tunnel of the CT spawn. He can climb up on top of the level.

COD and COD2 also have bunch of glitches
