The Pleo owners were disgusted, Ugobe was disgusted, it’s interesting to see that people get so emotionally attached to these robots, and they get upset when they see their robotic pet get slaughtered.

Tip # 1: Do not enter Pleo in a robot wars competition.

this made me laugh. They were booing at the end. What is a pleo? is it like a furby? I can tell its a dinosaur but why are people so attached to them in the first place?

Someday if robots get advanced enough to browse knowledge data bases and make analytical decisions based on evidence, they will not be very happy with this type of behavior. Therefore I am making this post as a record of my support for robot rights.

Now that’s quite sick, considering that options one and two would be utterly defenseless against attacks. You, on the other hand, will not be enjoying it if a dog attacked you because of simply being provoked, neither would you be alive.
