Video output file isn't accurate to the video preview

I currently have a strange problem with the video output file that Blender creates when rendering. Rendering the animation in a video file or in image files creates something different from the preview in the video sequence editor and from the temporarily rendered preview images. This leads to problems like that the rendered audio and scene are out-of-sync with the rendered video, whereas this looked fine in the preview.

How do I make sure the image/video preview is accurate to the final video output, or could I also use the preview as video output instead?

I have tried turning AV-Sync on and off, using speed controls for each imported clip, and even changing the framerate of the video output, but nothing seems to be really accurate to the preview. I am now going to edit the rendered video again with speed control while trying to sync it to the rendered audio, but this isn’t very ideal.

So little information. Trying to reconstruct your scene and how you have set up the render and what render settings etc is quite a challenge given the info supplied !

Create a simple (short) demo file (this MUST ALWAYS be done as the very minimum for ALL support questions) and supply a link to so other people can actually see what you see and are able to see what settings etc you are using.

My personal way is to first put the audio in the VSE and then use markers to highlight certain points. The load the animation and synch it up. Because of the slight lag when real-time processing the audio and images at the same time, this isn’t always accurate, sot he markers help keep it synched properly.
