Hey all, I’ve been a big fan of these forums for a while and they have helped me out quite a bit when I’ve gotten stuck in the past. I just created an account because I’ve run into an issue that I haven’t been able to find a solution to.
I’m attempting to creating an opening title sequence for my company, and I came up with what I thought was a neat idea. I’ve currently got our broadcasting logo created in blender. It’s mainly text with a specific look, so I made the individual letters and the icon (as well as the copyright logo) into individual curves. I then converted these into meshes.
Part 1 - I’m trying to show video files across the surface of these letters, as if they were being projected. I’m not sure if there is a way to do this without loosing the color of the mesh and just making the surface appear as the full (stretched) video.
Part 2 - I’d like to be able to project multiple video files across the individual letters if possible, with the ability to control their positions (making the video files move across the surface).
Part 3 - I would like to treat the logos letters as if they were all one large object. For example, in the word “Live” in our logo, a video file could be seen on the surface of the L, and you could see it continue on into the I. This is less important, as I would be fine with a video file simply being projected onto and around the edges of the individual letters.
Thanks so much for any help that you can give!
