I am trying to use blender 2.5 to comvert an mp4 video to avi. Paced the mp4 clip in video sequence editor along with the sound file. Set the parameters in Render section but only the clip rendered but not the audio. Any idea how to make both video and sound render

Assume you’re using FFMPEG to encode. Did you use the h264 preset and in the audio tab ‘multiplex’ audio?

What does the terminal say?

Linux, Mac, or Windows? Version of 2.5, alpha 1 or 2. :slight_smile:

click the speaker?
select an audio codec?
check Encode Audio?
