I’m working on a somewhat complicated animation with a ton of different character models in one scene, and I can’t seem to view the animation in 24 fps, even in wireframe mode. Currently the only way I can check the animation’s speed is by rendering the whole thing out, but that takes a bit too long just for a quick speed check. So is there a way render a quick avi file in completely in wireframe or solid mode? I’m aware of the wireframe option for materials in Blender internal, but I want to be able to make a quick render without editing every material in the scene.
I just saw the option for rendering the 3d viewport, it works fine for quick low-quality rendering for speed tests.
