View keys aren't working.

For no apparent reason, my numpad keys are not working (to change views). I have tried with num lock on and off to no avail. I now have to resort to the view menu every time I want a different view. Does anyone have a solution?:o

Post your version of blender and your operating system. I have experienced problems like this before.
