What is the reason for the mismatch in RGB values? Please see the picture:
On the left is the menu that appears when clicked, and on the right is the menu when hovering the mouse over it. Why are the values on the left lower than those on the right? They should be equal. Additionally, when exporting to OBJ format, the values in the MTL file are the same as those in the left picture, which are incorrect and do not match the real RGBA values shown on the right.
In Blender, the RGB and HSV/HSL values are in Scene Linear color space, and are therefore not Gamma corrected. On the contrary, Hex are automatically Gamma corrected for the sRGB Color Space. For more information, see Color Management.
It’s a very strange decision since the color wheel itself and the color shown are corrected, but only the values particular in that menu are not. It seems there’s no option to make them consistent? And for the exporter, I mentioned it earlier.
