Hi,

Just to check (before I spend a bunch of money on a new GPU), does viewport performance get better with a faster GPU? Or is the viewport run completely by the CPU? I’m right now getting about 16 frames a second when playing back animations, and I’m checking out different tricks that might bring that up to 24 frames per second. Thanks!

strong GPU will preform better, but you have limited memory (unless you spend crazy money on one with a lot of memory) and also, GPUs cant render sertain things.
