Viewport issues

Hi there, would anyone know why my model looks fine in the viewport when using the orthographic views (numpad) whilst when I navigate round the model using the trackpad/mouse it becomes pixellated?

is there anything I can do to avoid the pixellation? since the same problem persists when rendering.

Thanks very much for any help / insights.
Luke

It is z-fighting, the faces are to near each other and/or overlapping.
Move the “blue” a bit under the “green”.

Or if you are using the standard clip start/end 0.01m/ 1000m… adapt them… i guess the shoe is less then 1000m  ?

Thanks allot, had to google z-fighting. Model was sculpted in Gravity sketch so the surfacing is not entirely accurate, guess I’ll have to pull the surfaces further away even though they aren’t touching. I was just curious to know why the surfacing appeared ok with orthographic views in comparison.

If the model is imported the chances are high the model is extremly scaled small or big so floating point calculations are causing this. Create a default cube as comparison, the shoe should be smaller than the cube but big enough to see the details beside the cube.
If that is not the case resize it so it fits easy in the cube.

You’re right all I had to do was scale the model down. Thanks allot for your help! :grinning:
