Viewport OpenGL shadows with Cycles?


Is it possible to enable viewport shadows when using Cycles? I’ve followed that tutorial:

It works fine when BI is selected but shadows aren’t visible when Cycles is on.

remember that BI and Cycles is two completly different things, cycles is a PBR rendering engien, while BI is not. calculating shadows in cycles would require a lot of power.

best option i know is to use rendered viewport.

I think you have misunderstood me, I meant shadows in opengl viewport, not during rendering. Switching to cycles disables shadows there…
