Viewport Rendering ?

Hi guys, first post ever on this forum . hope to get some help :slight_smile:

one of the features for blender 2.5 was the “Interactive preview rendering” … any clue how to activate this feature ? I found a video that was a few years old and it is to use a hotkey that doesnt work with the version I downloaded … also I saw a tutorial that had the ability to change viewport type to rendered … but all I have is textured, solid, wireframe …

any feedback to this one ??

ps I know im doing something wrong I just cant figure it out … for example I cant even see transparancy in my viewport … thats not right lol
