Viewport stuck after exiting camera view?

hey everyone, i’m having this strange issue i’ve never seen before. whenever i exit the camera view, the viewport gets stuck (can’t zoom and movement is slowed). using the zoom button just bugs it out even more. however, the view goes back to normal when hitting Home, Shift+C, or Num+.

happens on new project files, tried both 4.0 and 4.1 as well. am i missing something here? any help is appreciated!

I’ve had that happen; the camera or view just stops doing mostly anything. No idea why, it’s like the zoom in/out function just dies a slow death and barely moves.

I find hitting “Home” (frame all) seems to reset it to it’s regular expected behavior.
