Hello everyone, Feel free to give comments, Praises or Suggestions, I have finished working on this bike now but I will take and suggestions for the next Bicycle I Model Which I think will be a MuddyFox Ascent MTB (Also One of My own Bikes)

Modelled From High resolution Photographs of my own bike, Aswell As Having spent 1000s of miles riding it and learning every small detail off by heart.

It also Has Basic Rigging applied in the .blend format (when pedals are turned all connecting parts move accordingly. i.e chain, Sprockets, Wheel etc… )

For anyone interested this is now for sale on turbosquid [HERE](http://www.turbosquid.com/3d-models/racing-giro-d-viking-obj/709694?referral=Bizla), 3Dexport and 3Docean, final price is not known yet So untill 3Docean Review team get round to it I will sell it for just $20 on turbosquid.

I would Like to Thank Richard Marklew for figuring out how to make the brake and gear cables attach to the handlebars and bend properly.

Awesome!

how did you do your handle bar wrap?

i started a bike model a while back and used the screw modifier around a curve and it turned out like this:

i never got around to texturing but i was a little leery of the candy cane pattern it produced.

Nice modelling … but …you need to rework some details.
The brakes at the wheels floating somewhere between the wheel and the frame.
If you want to sell it it have to be perfect , just my 2 cent .
And the gear and pedals don’t look OK IMHO , but I don’t have a bike 😉
But nicely done , almost perfect.

thanks for the comments guys 🙂

@magnets, I done the handle wrap using an array, curve and screw modifier all at the same time using an empty to get the spacing right and afterwards after applying the modifiers selecting all verts, removing doubles and then recalculating normals 🙂
It looks as if you might have forgotten to remove doubles before recalculating the normals.

@chrisx, thank you i will have a look at those areas, I see what you mean about the brakes, it seems I have forgotten to add the bolt that connects it to the frame lol, and the pedals were tricky because i have upgraded the pedals on my bike so I didnt have any decent reference of the originals, I was going mainly by memory.

Thanks again fellas 😃
