Hi all,
I’m working on a Viking ship. It’s not finished yet, so comments and ideas are welcome! For now, I think I’ll add some shields on the side of the ship, add more ropes, and the light needs some work too. Any other ideas are appreciated.

we had a cometition just alittle while back concerning vikings - this would have made a nice entry! keep it up! 
too late! Anyway, I’m just a beginner. I don’t think I would have been able do to such a work a few weeks ago.

the sun doesnt look quite right dude, try working on it a bit. rest is cool tho :D.
add a bump map to the water to make the illusion of more waves! also maybe you should make the wave plane longer so as to see the waves get smaller cause as is it you can tell where they stop!
I’ve fixed the sun - in fact the spot wasn’t looking at the camera, and after a few difficulties I think I have a believable mist. Here is the result:

yes but the halo for the sun needs to be lower or better yet - use a global texture of a sunset!
