visibility of hiden edges

when I select few edges and hide them with H, they are visible as light grey lines. its new thing in Blender and I think its cool but can I change their color in User Preferences? I would like them to be less visible

It looks like you can change it only by changing the color of the wire in 3d view :expressionless: it would be great if there was another color just for the hidden edges

In the User Prefs window you can add a new Theme. In the 3D View menu you can change the color of Wire, but it’ll change ALL the wire color. There is no way to change only that of the hidden wires.
