Vista64?

I recently, after much deliberation, purchased a computer and ended up with the 64-bit version of Windows Vista. I was so excited to get my new computer because I would be able to use Photoshop and Blender faster and without overheating my computer. Unfortunately, I was unable to figure out which version to download. Is there a version of Blender for this Vista? If so, which one? If not, is it in development?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Update, okay I just realized there is one for 64-bit but there’s no installer. What does that mean?

The 64-bit doesn’t seem to have the frequency of updates as the 32-bit version does. Graphicall has some 64-bit versions available from time to time:

The 32-bit version of Blender will of course work just fine on Vista 64 running from the Program Files (x86) directory.

Everyone is understandably focused on getting 2.5 out the door rather than maintaining the many flavors of Blender.

It means you can just unzip that and run blender from there.

Okay. Thank you both!
