Volumetric Shadows

I’ve seen this done before but I don’t know how it’s done. When you get volumetric lights using spots, how can you make it so that an object leaves a shadow that is volumetric. This may not be the best way to describe it but if anyone know how to do it please help me!

Set “Halo Step” to anything else than 0

also you have to make sure the ‘halo’ button is turned on in the lamp buttons. and the shadows button in both lamp and display buttons.

1 is best looking, but quite slow, 12 is rather ugly, but fast.
