Volunteered to make this website

Hey,

I made a website for a water quality monitoring event held in Oregon, USA. Please let me know what you think. Anyone who knows GIS will enjoy it. It blew everyone’s mind in the class and council, but they don’t know the first thing about html or javascript.

Thanks!

wow! thats nice! i see why they got their minds blown.

well done! its clean, neat, and concise. my 3 favorite things about websites!

Thank you both very much! I guess I did deserve that A after all

You certainly deserved it.
The only thing I can find is that it isn’t compatible with Firefox (the buttons don’t work). It works without a problem in IE though.
Well done.

It works on firefox on my box at home. I will check on this later. What version are you using? And thank you for pointing this out.

OK, I feel stupid now. I’m revisiting your website (3rd visit), and it works now on firefox (1.0.6). It probably has got to do with my computer or my internet connection. I’ve had more problems with it today and in the past few days.
So sorry for troubling you with it, please ignore my previous post.

PS: and post more of those nice websites as you make them!

I like it quite a bit. It works in IE AND Firefox for me and thats a small miracle.

I would personally change the background a little bit (maybe make it a tad bit whiter and turn down the boldness of those images) and adjust the text font a little bit. Mainly it’s just the background/text combo I don’t care for. Just tune the background down a bit and the text will be fine.
However, that’s really nitpicky and I think it’s attractive and, more importantly, completely functional as it is.
