Voxel remesh problem

I went to blender as usual, I did not make any updates, version 4.1 of the blender and when I try to use remesh wtih voxel even on a standard cube, the blender just lags and crashes as if I have a billion polygons, I took a break from modeling for a week. Now I’m back and this problem appeared, it wasn’t there before, and if I use other remesh methods, there are no problems even if there are 5-6 million tris, so it can load for a minute or two, but it doesn’t break the blender. Is this a problem with blender, or a problem with some update in the PC, or a problem with the processor or video card of the PC itself?

Initialize the size of the object and remesh it

but then why is it not necessary to do this for other remesh methods and why have I never had this problem before?

I don’t know.
All the functions of the blender are affected by the scale.
If you use Addon, I think it includes the ability to initialize the scale before running the remesh.

If you want to do a remesh more intuitively, you can do it in Sculpture.

If you select the R on the keyboard and move the mouse, it will visually show the size of the remesh.
If you click the mouse at the appropriate size, the remesh value will be set.
(You can perform a remesh with the set value, or you can remesh after changing the set value.)
