I hadn’t even heard of this format until today and I’m looking for a way to import it into Blender. Anyone know of any free tools or plugins that will take a VRML “.wrz” (compressed .wrl?) file? Thanks
Have you tried unzipping it using the various tools like gz, then importing it as a VRML?
Might work… i’d be curious if it does
Well that was a clever idea! I renamed the file to *.gz and then unzipped it. The Blender VRML importer wouldn’t read it (it must be VRML2?) but I was able to pull it into another app. Any way to read VRML2 files in Blender? Are they the same thing as X3D?
