VSE jpg image sequence washed out

Hello, when I load the jpg image sequence to VSE the colors seem to me slightly washed out comparing to the original file. Tried to load the same images to UV editor and there are the images displayed correctly. Could you help me please what I am missing?

It’s your Color Management.
Change it from Filmic to Standard.

It kind of looks like it has been processed to 16-235 and the original one is shown in 0-255 brightness range.
