vertfired3 copy.blend (1.1 MB)
Hope I put this request for help in the correct place.
I have a file that contains mp4, mp3 and jpg files that should render out to a 16 second animation.
Problem: one of the audio clips is not included in the rendered animation. There are two audio clips and only the second is rendered (both MP3).
The first clip was inside a meta strip and in an early version did render successfully. I think the problem started when I altered the volume of the clip
Steps so far:
I have tried rendering only the audio: only the second clip is played.
Moved the audio clip from inside the meta strip.
Moved the audio clip vertically - so above the video clip and below it. I don’t know if a vertical ‘hierarchy’ exists but it didn’t make a difference.
Deleted the video clip that was associated with the offending audio
Tried audio codecs AAC and MP3.
I have tried incrementally removing each element, leaving the offending audio in place. Final step was a render of the file with only that audio remaining.
Tried changing sound settings (edit/preferences/sound):
The default was CoreAduio. I tried SDL, Open AL.
It is a packed file - I have tried unpacking it, repacking it and re-loading (clip selected - Strip/Source)
I tried saving the packed file to a different location, unpacking it and then rendering.
In all cases the second mp3 rendered successfully. Similarly, the offending audio clip plays in the preview with no issues.
At this stage I don’t care if I’ve done something daft and end up looking silly: I am desperate.
