does anybody know why i completely lose sound if the blender 2.56 VSE whenever i reopen my file. *. wav files are fine. but sound attached to my *.mov files are never heard upon reopening.
i went to external data in the file menu and selected make all paths relative. that seems to help. i don’t know what i have done though.

another option in “external files” in the file menu is find missing files. if you use this feature to locate your files it helps sometimes too.
