AS I’m still learning, I found this a challenge with the limited photographic references
I could find.

By the way, this is my first attempt at texture painting.

I didn’t bother modeling the inside of the cockpit; as it would take another month of modeling.
Yes I know I’m lazy in my old age, but this has taken 2months so far.

The decals are for real from the A C1096 Lt. H.J. Burden, No 56 Squadron,
Valheureux, France. Spring 1918.

I am also new and have the same problems. It is not easy to find good reference materials. I am working on a Fokker Triplane (The Red Baron’s famous plane) I see there is a lot of variation sometimes with reference material. But this is a good effort, well done, mine is not in the air yet…

Thank you for your kind words.

In regards to reference images, I take screen shots of any video walk arounds or any other videos I can find.
Youtube has videos on nearly ever thing you can think of.
