Walten's sketch book

So here I’m going to be posting my work , things that i am currently working on or stuff that is already done :).

Hoping for constructive critisme.

I’m mainly modeling for games , ill do a polished render for every game asset that I am working on to train at rendering from now on.

The 2 first renders are exceptions , this was the time when i was triyng to model in rhinoceros 5 , its all nurbs , rendered with vray, and it was really hard to achieve free forms with nurbs only!
Excuse the low quality i only had the trial version of vray so its low resolution and noisy.


This sword was particularly hard to model with nurbs only, i wanted to use it in game but it had 280 k tris
At that point i understood that rhinoceros wasnt the programm that i was looking for ( though it is a great programm to learn geometry and architecture rendering)

Azureu’s mask :

Model : 574 tris
Diffuse map only

Model low: modelled from a reference image placed the uv to fit correctly and baked the texture directly from the image into a new texture, only one side is textured the other uses the same uv mirrored uv through the mirrormodifier.

Model for the render: turned the tris back to quads most of them manually, used a a subsurf modfifier.
