The Annecy festival (in France) is one of the (if not “the”) biggest and oldest animated film festivals in the world and Blender always has a presence in it. Sometimes the Blender Institute has a booth there at the MIFA (International Market of Animated Movies) to show off the development of the program and the movies in production.
If you plan to go there, it would be good to meet other Blender artists.
