Just screwin around with a sketch pad…scanned it and screwed around some more in photoshop.Painting without a graphic tablet is a real bitch. Had to use a mouse for everything, my wrists are starting to sound like that rattle sound when you shake a spray paint can :-?. That glowy-thingy underneath him was done in blender, composited in photoshop.

Funny you should ask. I used a mouse on this piece. I dont have a graphic tablet YET. I’m thinking about getting an ACECAT FLAIR, not 'cause its the best out there, but 'cause its about AUD$100 (thats roughly US$50). From what I’ve read, its basically the same as the WACOM Graphire2 (but acecat’s probably a bit bigger active drawing space). But then again I have been told that a Wacom would be a good choice (mainly because of software compatabilities).

neat. but if you’d use a graphix tablet, it would probably be better, since you’d have more movement freedom with your airbrush strokes.
